Gorgeous vintage Benedikt NY iconic maltese cross brooch. The outer edges are in the form of crowns, each with a hematite stone and red rhinestones. In the center is a ruby red rhinestone with clear baguette spikes. The brooch also has a hook, so that it can be worn as a pendant. MCM, made by Howard Benedikt between 1955 and 1963. Measutements - 2 inches by 2 inches. Markings - Benedikt NY. Condition - good condition with all stones present the gold is chipping off of one of a prongs and is rough to the touch.
