Rare Antique 1790 Georgian Portrait Miniature Locket W Original Case

This is a very rare 1790s Georgian era English portrait miniature encased with low carat gold. The back has this gentlemen’s hair that is weaved in a pattern. These portraits were commissioned to be painted by loved ones as a memorial piece. The painting is of very high quality and I wished I knew the English painter. It has the original case which is made of sharks skin lined in red velvet. A rare miniature. Measures approximately 3 inches in length. Smoke free environment. don’t recall if this is 18k gold or low carat 15. Measures approximately 3” in length. I paid a lot of money from a high end dealer for this piece Layaway available on my site. Shipped fully insured and packed well. Smoke free environment.
