These absolutely beautiful clip-on earrings were created by Juliana in the 1940-1950. The heliotrope was popularized in the mid-century by Swarovski. This technique creates flashes of fiery red, fiery orange, and blue and are created from a specialty art glass rhinestone. This process was popular with the high-end costume jewelers. The stones are held with prongs for longer lasting hold. They are about 1 inch long. All jewelry is cleaned and polished.
