This vintage 1930’s Coro Floral Duette is an iconic piece of American costume jewelry originally patented in 1939. It features two floral dress clips that lock into a base frame to be worn as a single large brooch. The patented mechanism granted to Adolph Katz allows the two clips to separate and be worn on the corners of a neckline or collar. Accented with vibrant enamel flower petals, and detailed with crystal baguettes and rhinestones this is really a very beautiful piece. Overall condition is very good with some minor enamel loss on one of the flower pedals. The duette is complete and functional. Measures 2 3/4” x 1 3/4” and weighs 33.1 grams.
