This vintage sterling silver brooch/pendant features marcasite-look detailing and what I believe are garnets, although I haven't had them tested (but they are definitely more burgundy than red). This piece measures about 1-5/8 inches from spout to handle and 1-1/4 inches tall. The clasp is in good working order if you wish to wear this as a brooch, and there is a nice-sized bale (or loop) that should easily accommodate most necklaces, if you care to thread one through and wear this as a pendant.
