A romantic antique Victorian solid 18k gold triple rope twist eternity band ring, hallmarks for Joseph Gloster, dating to circa 1890. The endless rope symbolizes everlasting love and this lovely antique Victorian solid 18k yellow gold ring is very versatile as it would make a wonderful wedding band, eternity or everyday ring! The ring has a fabulous look with a light-catching triple torsade braided rope twist design with the central rope going in the opposite direction of the outer two, the ring with nice curved edges for wearing comfort-a gorgeous and super looking ring! The ring has the maker's mark 'J.G' inside the band for Joseph Gloster (registered July 1888) of Lion Silver Works, Hockley Hill, Birmingham and '18' for 18k gold. The ring tests for 18k gold. The ring is approximately a size 6 1/4. The band is approximately 5.2mm wide.
