Here is a VICTORIAN PHOTO LOCKET. It is like a Pocket Watch Case but thinner. It was always intended to be a Locket never a Pocket Watch. There is a little button in the center of the stem that you push in to open, you may need to fit your fingernail in the groove to help it open.
