Thought to be from 1890 - 1910 this brooch started as a sash buckle and was later turned into a brooch. I've tried to show the pictures of where the pin was added. It does say "sterling" on the back. It's hard to see in the picture. The brooch has a curve to it. It weighs 1.1 oz. or 31.1845 grams.
