The earrings feature 2-natural oval cabochon-cut Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl gemstones, with a fascinating yellow to brown coloring. The gemstones were bezel-set, by hand, into gorgeous handmade earring mountings with a decorative twisted rope design around the frame. The mountings were handmade and then hand polished to a bright finish. A thick ring was hand-soldered to the inside of the mountings to provide them with additional support. Thick posts were hand-soldered to the backs and they come with comfortable 14kt gold butterfly closures. These lovely earrings will transcend generations.
