Varied Lot of Vintage Collar Buttons & Studs

From the 1820’s til about the 1930’s men had detachable collars, and for evening wear, detachable shirt fronts. This situation required jewelry that’s rarely needed now. Here’s a selection that shows the variety of styles, shapes, findings and materials available. Women sometimes had detachable collars as well, so some of these pieces cold have been meant for women. The oldest examples are the 2 large brass and goldtone collar buttons, the tiny goldtone square, the button with the laurel wreath and with a large clear rhinestone on one side and mother of pearl on the other. The wishbone with faux pearl and the 4 mother of pearl / abalone studs are probably the newest. Only a few pieces are signed – the wishbone is Hickok, a company that’s made men’s jewelry since 1909. The small gold filled abalone and faux pearl rounds are Krementz in business from 1866 to 1997, and the glass dome flower stud is marked “The F (reversed) F Company. Most of the pieces have some wear, and the unusual stud with the raised blue flowers over the shiny silvery background have small streaks of brown.

Vintage Brooch Lot Of 8, Varied Styles, Ages, Eras, Composition, Brands, Sizes

This is an 8 piece lot of vintage Brooches. Carved MOP and Sterling brooch is 27 mm. It is marked Sterling on the back. Next is a JJ Jonette, “Cat in a Gold Fish Bowl” He is 1.75 inches tall and 2 inches wide. He is signed on the back JJ. The “Frog On A Cattail” is not signed. He is 3 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. The Silver and black glass bar type pin is 1.75 inches long and .5 inches wide. It is marked with an R on the back. Little Scottish Lass with a jelly belly face is 1.5 inches tall and .75 inches wide. Next is a Modernist, silver tone Brooch, It looks to be a stylized guitar neck. It is marked TM on the back. The next two brooches are textured gold tone Letter N and V, signed Mamselle. They are 1 inch by 1 inch.

Vintage bracelet,link style, varied,silver tone w/some wear PRICE REDUCED

This listing is for a vintage link style bracelet with 6 links. The metal is silver in color – when I used the brightener tool, it made them appear to have some gold color but they are silver. Each link has various settings, using rhinestones, glass and faux pearls. The bracelet measures 7 and 1/4″ long and has a box closure. The value in this bracelet is the uniqueness of each link.
