14K solid white gold Art Deco era filigree diamond ring. Beautiful filigree ring set with one .20 carat (weighed) round brilliant cut diamond held secure with a milgrain border and 6 beads. The diamond is G-H in color and VVS2 in clarity and very nicely cut to show a lot of sparkle. The ring measures approximately 7/8 of an inch in length, weighs approximately 2.54 grams and is approximately 7 in finger size. The ring is stamped inside with a K or a JK inside of a shield, 14K and J420K. A beautiful ring for the bride who loves antique/vintage jewelry, as a cocktail ring or just to be worn for beauty. In very nice vintage/antique condition. It is shown in a few pictures in a black suede box, this is for photographic purposes only. This lovely, handmade from A to Z, vintage piece will accentuate a woman’s gentle hand. The ring features 3-single-cut Lab-created emeralds, and 4-simply fascinating rose-cut diamonds. Rose-cut diamonds date back to the 16th century and have domed tops and flat bottoms. The high-polished mounting was hand-carved, and each head was handmade and then hand soldered to the top of the ring mounting. The stones were handset into pointed tip prongs, which is a telling sign of the age of the piece. In those days, all stones were cut by hand, which took precision and skill. It is easy to see all the imperfections of hand work of a master jeweler, which makes this piece so much more special. The emeralds show signs of wear, which only adds to the intrigue of this fascinating piece. The ring was tested in the store, because the 14kt gold stamp was polished off.
