Fabulous old antique lavender stone yellow rose gold etched ring
Gorgeous old ring hall marked inside with a Maltese cross. I have misplaced my acid tester & I have not tested the gold but if you zoom in on the photo with the Maltese cross there appears to be writing there. It tests hardness of tanzanite although this wasn’t discovered until later. Approximately 5.25 to 5.5 size. The stone is approximately a carat or a tad over. I estimate it is circa 1900. From my antique shop I have recently closed. The gold is a lovely yellowish rose gold. It’s really a beauty.
