Vintage sweetheart necklace featuring a genuine Mercury dime (Winged Liberty Head) silhouette/profile set in a clear lucite heart pendant on a lightweight sterling silver chain. Classic WWII era mid-century sweetheart jewelry piece, likely dating to the 1940s–1950s. Preowned vintage condition with light surface wear and minor age-related marks to lucite consistent with age and use. The lucite heart pendant measures 1.5 x 1.5 inches and is hanging on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. It is marked STERLING on the clasp/spring ring.
