This magnificent, handmade 14kt white gold invisible set diamond cross pendant is absolutely stunning. This pendant is HUGE, it measures 4.0″ long, 2.5″ wide and 15mm thick, it will have a commanding presence when worn. This spectacular piece is embellished with 114 natural fancy yellow princess cut diamonds and 26 bright white brilliant cut diamonds. All of the diamonds were hand set in a powerful pendant mounting, totally handmade from wax carving to centrifuged hand casting to hand finishing and polishing. The rounds were prong set and the princess cut diamonds were invisible set, by hand, which took lot a of time and skill. A thick enclosed wire backing was hand soldered to the back, which provides this piece with additional strength and support. The diamonds have a perfect dispersion of light, so they create an endless amount of bright and vivid sparkles. All of the diamonds were hand set in a thick, strong very powerful pendant mounting, totally handmade from wax carving to centrifuged hand casting to hand finishing and polishing. The rounds were prong set and the princess cut diamonds were invisible set, by hand, which took lot a of time and skill. An invisible setting is quite complicated, it first requires precise measuring of the parallel grooves on each stone. Rails have to be cut in the channels on the mounting using extreme caution because the cuts must be straight. After following about 4 more steps, only then can the stone actually be set. The process is long, but the results are simply breathtaking, there are no prongs to interrupt the bright glow of the natural yellow princess cut treated diamonds. A thick enclosed wire backing was hand soldered to the back, which provides this piece with additional strength and support. There are natural diamonds prong set in the large, powerful movable bail.
