Vintage Russian Rostov Finift Hand-Painted Filigree Porcelain Enamel Brooch, “Blooming Branch” Vintage Russian “Finift” Technique Ornate Filigree Hand Painted Floral Enamel brooch. The flowers are hand-painted onto a copper plate with multiple thin layers of enamel powder cured in a kiln. It is an ancient Russian technique, dating to the 1100s. A lovely vintage Silver plated Hand-wrought filigree Russian Roslov Finift Brooch set with 5 hand painted porcelain enamel cabochons and a C-clasp. Can be pinned to a lapel, hat, choker, scarf, beautiful satin ribbon necklace, or fabric belt. I generally do not clean items, as some prefer vintage aged patina that accentuates the filigree style wire work on the brooch.
