I sorted the chaff out and gave the good ones to a homeless shelter, which accepted them gratefully. Several old ones seemed to have GOLD on them – these I took to a jewelers for appraisal. All were worthless EXCEPT…… For the pair offered here today! They are appraised at $85.00, are gold filled, and are not broken. They are bifocals, strength unknown. Guaranteed to be antique and fragile, and will be shipped in a sturdy plastic case I have found! The earpieces are filigreed, but being so slender, are difficult to photograph. Sorry- Good luck!
