Flora Danica Sterling 925 Eggert Denmark Botanical Brooch Pin
Beautiful leaf plant brooch marked Flora Danica STERLING 925 EGGERT DENMARK. This highly collectible vintage botanical jewelry company was founded in Denmark in the 1950s by Orla and Grethe Eggert. The brooch is sterling with either a gold wash (vermeil) or 24k overlay based on what is known about the materials they used back in the day. I believe the gold wash has worn off a bit over the years, so the silver is coming through. I dont know if this would polish up or not, being sold as is. See pics as part of the description.
