The necklace consists of seventy-one impressive vintage 1980’s cultured pearls. The necklace secures with an antique pierced decorated, rectangular shaped push fit clasp; amalgamating antique and vintage elements to produce single item of jewelry was common practice in the 1910’s. The antique 1910’s clasp is ornamented with a stunning central collet set 0.66ct round faceted cut green sapphire, flanked with two impressive pavé set Old European round cut diamonds totalling 0.88ct. The stunning clasp has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 carat gold. This impressive single strand pearl necklace and clasp is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone in this pearl strand necklace with green sapphire clasp. Date: Clasp Circa 1910 / Pearls Circa 1980 Condition This impressive single strand necklace is excellent quality, set with cultured pearls displaying fine color and lustre. The high color graded diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance and the sapphire bears fine color, brilliance and presence. The clasp is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of pearl jewelry/estate jewelry.
