The necklace has an asymmetric Art Nouveau drop design. Each of the asymmetric articulated linear drops is ornamented with a 3.24mm (approx.) seed pearl, suspended from a shaped scrolling motif via a single collet set eight-cut diamond. The centre of the pierced decorated scrolling motif settings are each accented with a collet set eight-cut diamond. The two linear drop suspend from a central curvilinear chevron design via belcher style chains. The central setting is embellished with three eight-cut diamonds, collet set to a trefoil design. The pendant suspends from an 18.5″ platinum belcher style chain, securing to the reverse with an 18K White Gold spring loaded bolt ring fastening. The clasp is hallmarked with the French hallmarks for 18K Gold (eagle”s head) and platinum (dog”s head). Vtg Unsigned Art Nouveau Style Gold Tone wBright Faux Aquamarine Crystals Choker

This vintage gold tone choker necklace features bright faux aquamarine crystals in an Art Nouveau style. They are set within a flowing vine and leaves pattern that exudes the style that is Nouveau. The three pieces are articulated so that they lay flatteringly on the neck and lead into the box chain. The necklace is 15 inches long and has a box closure. It is a unisex fashion piece that can be worn for any occasion. The main oval-shaped faux aquamarine stone is set in prongs and foil backed while the surrounding round crystals are set in paste giving the necklace an original and authentic look. The necklace was manufactured sometime between 1950-1959 and has an unknown base metal. It is unsigned and has an antique feel without being too old. The necklace is a perfect addition to any jewelry collection and is sure to make a statement. Minor patina wear normal for age.
