Vintage Large Ammolite Opalized Ammonite Mollusk Fossil Sterling Silver PENDANT A large ammonite fossil with ammolite opalization on the outer side of the shell (see photo). This beautiful of the interior side of the ancient mollusk shows the chamber growth. To of the larger chambers where fossilized in such a way to show their empty cavity when the fossil was sliced open. The ammonite is set in a sterling silver bezel which encircles the fossil in such a way to expose two sides for viewing. There is a large 5 mm bale. Metal has been tested as sterling silver for metal fineness. This would make a fabulous statement pendant! Please see extensive photos.
