A gorgeous antique Victorian solid 9k gold garnet floral band ring, dating to circa 1870. This fabulous antique Victorian everyday or pinky band ring has been created in solid 9k yellow gold and is centered with a lovely oval faceted bezel-set garnet which has been foil backed to enhance its beautiful deep red colors, the garnet is surrounded by pretty little hand hammered scrolling flowers, the ring with arrow design shoulders surrounded by further scrolling flowers which reach deep down the side of the graduating ‘D’ shape band-a super pretty Victorian garnet ring! The ring is unmarked and XRF tests for 9k gold. The ring is approximately a size 5 1/4. The ring measures about 6.9mm wide at the front graduating down to about 2.5mm wide at the back. The garnet measures approximately 5.5mm x 4mm.
