Clear Vibrant Pink Vtg Beetle Bracelet Translucent Resin, Lrg,1960s, NOS #16

The beetle is likely a Green Scarab Beetle with deep red tones depending on the angle. This resin is clear and has a deep inner neon pink band which reflects throughout. From some angles it is clear and others a vibrant pink. The same beetle is all the way around. These bracelets have been in storage for several decades. Some have scuffs some have manufacturing defects. This one is very clear but has some jagged cuts on inner rim. It does not affect the appearance at all. Price has been adjusted. The center of this bracelet is 2 5/8”. I consider my hands to be med/large and I am able to get my hand through it, without any struggle. The outer diameter is 3 3/4”

Clear Vtg Scorpion Bracelet Translucent Resin, 1960s, NOS Small #15

The is a resin/lucite SCORPION bracelet. The resin is smooth and clear (with exception below). These bracelets have been in storage for several decades. Some have some scuffs, this one is GOOD but has one area on edge with some chips on the side. Please see last 2 pictures, price has been adjusted. The center of this bracelet is 2 1/2”. I consider my hands to be med/large and I CAN get this one over my palm joints, but it’s not comfortable. There are others that measure the same that go on easier. The outer diameter is 3 7/16” (the thinnest that I have) This bracelet doesn’t have scuffs or chips but it does have a small blip which you only notice if you run your finger along the inside.

Vintage Blueberry Juice Lucite Beetle Bangle

Encapsulated Jewel Beetles in blueberry juice lucite. These bangles are from the 1960s and have become quite collectible. I used to see these quite a bit at thrift stores and vintage boutiques over the years but they are a lot harder to find these days due to a resurgence in popularity I believe is partly due to fashion icon Iris Apfel. She was an avid collector of lucite bangles, but these beetle and other insect bangles in particular and it seems as her popularity grew as did this style of bangle. Since she’s passed (may the high priestess of fashion rest in peace) interest in these bangles has exploded. Approx 3 3/4″ in diameter with a 2 3/4″ in diameter opening and 3/4″ thick.
