TODAY FOR AUCTION Huge! 1920’s Antique Handmade 14k Yellow Gold 38.7ct Turquoise Solitaire Pendant, 10.5 grams This exquisite, totally handmade 14kt yellow gold turquoise pendant is absolutely gorgeous. This antique pendant measures 2.0″ long and 1.12″ wide, it will make a bold and beautiful statement when worn. The pendant features a very colorful, 38.7ct natural pear cabochon cut turquoise gemstone, with a most fascinating, very unique blend of bluish green colors. The gemstone also possesses small traces of black and white. The turquoise was hand cut and hand polished to a smooth high polish finish. The large gem was hand set in a thick, very strong handmade pendant mounting. Thick, powerful prongs were separately handmade and hand soldered on, which holds the turquoise securely in place. The frame, on this handmade pendant, does show signs of hand work, which just adds character to an already amazing piece. There is a large double bail that can easily handle many different size chains. The chain in the pictures does not come with the pendant, it was just used to show how nice it will look. This most fascinating, uniquely designed pendant measures 1.5″ long and will dangle nicely over a beautiful blouse or dress. The pendant was crafted in 10kt rose gold and has a 0.05ct H- color, VS2- clarity, natural not enhanced, bright white rose cut diamond, sparkling with all the bright colors of the rainbow. Diamonds during those times were totally cut by hand, which is a lost trade today. The diamond is sitting in a handmade floral shaped head that was hand soldered to the middle of this hand crafted pentagon shaped mounting. A lustrous 3mm white freshwater baroque pearl was set in the middle of the pendant, which accents this piece perfectly. This lovely, antique pendant is a true handmade work of art and is a piece that could be passed down through the generations. The chain in the pictures does not come with the pendant it was just used to show how beautiful it will look.
