These vintage black onyx sterling silver drop earrings with a French wire secure closure are a stunning addition to any jewelry collection. These dangle/drop earrings feature natural black onyx stones set in 925 sterling silver. I can see the 9 on the back but the 25 I cannot with my jewelers loop..so I actually tested them with my kit. The scratch came up red which is a positive for sterling silver. I do this for buyers to ensure quality. See pics of my testing kit and results. Swab shows red which means sterling silver.
