An exceptionally refined vintage Chinese export silver and cloisonné enamel necklace featuring beautifully articulated barrel tube links decorated with intricate geometric motifs in vivid turquoise blue, rich aubergine purple and deep cobalt blue enamel. The finely detailed cloisonné work creates a striking balance of colour, texture and form, while the elongated links allow the necklace to drape gracefully when worn. A cleverly concealed clasp slides neatly into one of the enamel links, creating a seamless continuous design. Measures 77cms in length. Each link measures approx. 22mms x 5mms. Total weight 30.5 grams. A sophisticated and highly decorative example of mid-century Chinese export silver jewellery.
